With the Santa Claus Parade downtown, Dundas will be closed from Highbury to Wharncliffe, which will interrupt service on routes travelling north and south. Impacted routes will not be able to cross Dundas, due to parade routing, meaning that buses will remain north or south of Dundas. Passengers needing to continue to travel north or south of Dundas will have to alight the bus, cross the parade routing and board another bus on the opposite side.
Routes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 12, 13, 15, 19, 20 and 90 will have an adjusted downtown detour and detours will be added for Routes 1 and 16.
Effective at 3:30PM Route 2 will begin detouring off Dundas as it will be closed for staging between Highbury and Kellogg Lane. All other routes will commence the detour routing at approximately 5:30PM.
The end of the parade is anticipated to be between 8:30PM and 9PM at which time all routes will return to the current downtown detour or regular routing as applicable.
