Salary, per the Collective Agreement
Starting rate of $31.73 per hour plus applicable shift premiums (full rate after two years $37.09 per hour).

Requirements
- A, B, C, or D class Ontario Driver’s License (B or C preferred) (upgrade to mandatory C License provided if needed)
- Air Brake Endorsement (Z)
- Grade 12 Education or Equivalent (This document must meet the criteria for acceptable proof of Grade 12 or the equivalent)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Safe driving record with zero-point accumulation
- Grade 12 Education or Equivalent (This document must meet the criteria for acceptable proof of Grade 12 or the equivalent)
- Familiarity with the City of London
- Available to work a variety of shifts
Note:
Shifts vary and are chosen by seniority. New Bus Operators should expect to work weekends, evenings, nights, and holidays early in their career. Some shifts are “split” – for example, driving a few hours in the morning, taking a break, then driving again later to complete an 8-hour day. Operators pick their shifts and days off five times a year, so the schedule can change throughout the year. Vacation is also based on seniority, so new Operators should expect to take vacation outside of the summer months at first.
