Route and schedule changes take effect on Sunday August 31st, be sure to check your route in advance on our Routes & Schedules page. The primary service changes are for the following:
- Modified to operate along Wonderland Road to Fanshawe Park Road and Masonville Mall during all operating periods. This removes service on Sarnia Road and Western University, which is replaced by new Route 127.
- New route operating between Western University and Capulet Lane via Western, Sarnia and Wonderland Road, providing additional frequency along Sarnia Road.
- Schedule modifications to improve reliability and increase frequency from 40 mins to 20 mins between 2PM and 7PM.
- Modifications to the schedule to improve reliability on Sundays
In addition to the service changes Routes 102, 104 & 106 will return to service. Routes 27 and 33 will resume fall service levels
While these changes are planned to help improve your ride, please remember that construction continues to impact many routes whether directly with detour and stop closures or indirectly with delays due to increased traffic. Stay informed on our detours & stop closures page and check realtime.londontransit.ca for the most up to date service impacts..
In addition, the first few weeks of September are typically known as the ‘settling down’ period as passengers determine their new travel patterns. As noted above, the impacts of transit routes have been heightened this year with ongoing construction impacting schedule adherence. Please note that we are regularly monitoring ridership on all routes and adding articulated buses (60-foot) to the routes with the most crowding as resources are available.
