With the continuation of the intersection improvement construction at Fanshawe and Richmond, starting the week of March 4, work will begin on Fanshawe Park Road between North Centre Road W and North Centre Road E. As a result of lane shifting Fanshawe Park Road will be reduced to a single lane of traffic in each direction. All stops within the construction limits will be closed for the duration of the work, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of August 2024.
Impacts
Route 19
The following stops will be closed for the duration of the project:
- Fanshawe east of North Centre W westbound Stop ID 707
- Fanshawe at Richmond westbound Stop ID 2832
- Fanshawe west of North Centre E westbound Stop ID 705
- Fanshawe at Richmond eastbound Stop ID 2831
- Fanshawe east of Richmond eastbound Stop ID 709
- Fanshawe west of North Centre eastbound Stop ID 704
For transfer connections to routes serving the Masonville Mall Terminal the closest stop locations to get off Route 19 will be:
- Fanshawe at Louise eastbound Stop ID 701
- Fanshawe east of North Centre E eastbound Stop ID 706
- Fanshawe at Jennifer 2 westbound Stop ID 700
- Fanshawe at Louise westbound Stop ID 702
To transfer from routes serving the Masonville Terminal (10, 13, 16, 25, 34, 90, 92 & 93) to Route 19 please use one of the stops listed above.
Routes 16, 25 and 34
The following stops will be closed for the duration of the project:
- Fanshawe west of North Centre E westbound Stop ID 705
- Fanshawe west of North Centre E eastbound Stop ID 704
- Fanshawe east of Richmond eastbound Stop ID 709 (Routes 16 & 25 only)
When leaving the Masonville Mall terminal Routes 16, 25 and 34 will be on detour via Richmond, right on North Centre, left on Fanshawe Park Road
Route 92
There will not be any stop impacts to Route 92 within the construction limits, when leaving Masonville Mall the route will be on detour via Richmond, right on North Centre, left on Fanshawe Park Road
