Overview:
East London Link Phase 3C (EL3C) extends from Dundas to Oxford on Highbury. East London Link Phase 4 (EL4) extends from Highbury to Third on Oxford.
EL3C started in Spring 2024 and has since progressed to near completion. As of September 22, 2025, lane channeling has been reduced, enabling several stops to be reopened.
EL4 started in Spring 2025. Since then the Fanshawe College Terminal was reconstructed and is now located in front of D building. Please see below for impacts relating to the construction on EL3C and EL4.
Detour Impacts (Beginning May 4):
With the closure of the Fanshawe College terminal and the closure of Fanshawe College Blvd at Oxford, the Construction Connector (Route 111) and Routes 25, 27 and 36 will service Fanshawe College via Community Gate effective first bus May 4 until further notice. During this time, Routes 4, 17, 20, 25, 27, 36, and 91 will operate under the routing outlined below:
Route 111 (Construction Connector): South on Mornington, right on Curry, right on Oxford, left on Highbury, right on Cheapside, right on Fanshawe College Blvd, right on Community Gate, circle Community Gate roundabout, right on Community Gate, left on Fanshawe College Blvd, left on Cheapside, left on Highbury, right on Oxford, left on Mornington
Routes 4 & 91: East on Oxford, right on Curry, left on Mornington, left on Oxford to regular routing
Route 17 EB: East on Oxford, continue past Second, right on Third to regular route
Route 17 WB: West on Oxford, continue past First to regular route
Route 20 EB: East on Mornington, left on Curry, right on Oxford, right on Mornington to westbound routing
Routes 25 & 27: South on Fanshawe College Blvd, right on Community Gate, circle Community Gate roundabout, right on Community Gate, left on Fanshawe College Blvd to regular route
Route 36 WB: West on Oxford, right on Baransway, left on Cheapside, left on Fanshawe College Blvd, right on Community Gate, circle Community Gate roundabout, right on Community Gate, left on Fanshawe College Blvd, right on Cheapside, right on Baransway, left on Oxford to eastbound routing
