Re: 2023 Commission Meeting Dates
Recommendation
That the Commission CONFIRM the dates of the 2023 Commission regular meetings as follows, noting the meetings be held at the 450 Highbury Ave facility with a starting time of 5:00 p.m.

Background
The Commission sets meeting dates each year, noting the dates are subject to change from time to time as approved by the Commission. In addition to the above dates, Commission meetings may also be scheduled at the call of the Chair.
As set out in the recommended dates, the traditional date of the last Wednesday in March for a meeting has been bumped to April 13, 2023, and the meeting for the last Wednesday of April has been excluded. This calendar is being proposed due to the difficulty experienced over the past several years with having all of the required annual audit work completed and final financial statements available for the Commission’s approval by the end of March. Moving the meeting into April will provide administration with the required time to ensure the financial statements can be finalized and approved by the Commission, which will in turn allow administration to forward same to the City of London for inclusion in their final statements. The proposed meeting date was moved to a Thursday in an effort to avoid conflict with municipal council committee meetings scheduled to occur on the Wednesday. All other meetings will be held on the last Wednesday of the month or at the call of the Chair.
