Together with the Operations management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management and leadership of the Operations group to ensure “on-road service” is delivered in accordance with established rules, regulations, policies and procedures (including collective agreement) relating to the delivery of transportation services. This includes the discharge of duties relating to managing staff with respect to related personnel issues (e.g. job performance, attendance, recruitment, schedule adherence, schedule assignments, etc.).
With the completion of a two-year post-secondary program in a related discipline, combined with two years of progressive work-related experience in the field of transportation, you have demonstrated leadership and problem-resolution skills. You are also a team-builder and skillful communicator (both verbal and written) who can handle multiple priorities and know how to get the best from those around you.
Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation practices is required, as is proficiency with various software applications.
Salary range commensurate with skills and experience ($70,000 up to $87,278).
