The Wellington Gateway is a multi-year infrastructure project that will rebuild roads between downtown and White Oaks Mall while adding dedicated transit lanes and improving transportation.

Baseline to Wilkins
Preliminary construction is scheduled to begin Tuesday April 21 with additional impacts anticipated throughout the construction project. Stop closures and alternate stop locations that become effective April 21 are set out below.

Wilkins to Harlech Gate
Construction on Wellington between Wilkins to Harlech Gate began in 2024. Detour and stop closure impacts will continue throughout the 2026 constrution season. Current stop impacts are reflected below:

Harlech Gate to Exeter
Construction on Wellington between Harlech Gate to Exeter began in 2024. Detour and stop closure impacts will continue throughout the 2026 construction season.
There are currently no stop impacts on this section of Wellington. Lane restrictions are expected to begin mid-May, which will have impacts to stops and scheudle adherence. Impacts will be updated once construction timelines are known.
