What is MagnusCards?

MagnusCards is a free mobile app built by Magnusmode. It is designed for those with autism or other cognitive special needs. MagnusCards provides structured, step-by-step guidance with a game design to help teach a variety of life skills through free, downloadable card decks.

Why is London Transit on Magnus Cards?

As part of our Accessibility Plan, we have committed to creating more inclusive information relating to London Transit. These card decks were developed to fulfill this commitment.

How to I download the app?

If you are an iPhone user, go to the App Store on your phone and search for MagnusCards, then download.If you are an Android user, go to the Google Play store, search for MagnusCards, then download.

Is MagnusCard free?

Yes – it is free to download. There are no in-app purchases, either.

How do I find London Transit on MagnusCards?

Open the app on your phone, then tap the ‘Travel’ icon – it has the bus and plane on it.
Once you tap the icon, you will see the London Transit logo.

What kind of information does London Transit have on the app?

London Transit’s card decks are designed to help you with all you need to know about taking the bus in London. The card decks cover the following topics:

Who can use the app?

Anyone! MagnusCards is designed for people with cognitive special needs; however, anyone who needs help with learning how to ride London Transit is encouraged to use it. This includes newcomers, seniors, and people new to taking public transit – literally anyone!

How do I use the app if I don’t have data?

While you will need Wi-Fi or data to download the app, you can download London Transit’s card decks to your phone so they will be available anytime you need them. Once the card decks are downloaded to your phone, you won’t need to use Wi-Fi or data to use them.

How do I download the card decks to use offline?

Card Decks are downloaded to be used offline
• Tap the London Transit logo. You will see nine different card decks.
• To download the card decks to your phone, tap the down-facing arrow.
• Once the arrow disappears, the card decks are now downloaded onto your phone.

How do I access downloaded card decks to use offline?

Once you have downloaded the card decks, to access them again, go to the MagnusCards main screen. At the bottom, you will find the London Transit card decks you have already downloaded.
