On board validators (OBVs) are being replaced with a newer version. Smart Card holders are asked to wait for a beep or a check mark/green light when tapping their card before pulling it away. Further, please note that if the OBV says ‘already tapped’, it is confirmed that a transaction has been processed even though a green screen did not occur.
In some cases, over time, cards may stop working if pulled away from the reader too quickly. If this occurs, please contact our Customer Service Representatives as soon as possible – 519-451-1347 or ltc@londontransit.ca.
