- The elimination of having to call in and wait in a telephone queue to request a trip; instead, you can now request a trip online;
- Just like when calling in, requests can be made online during regular booking hours up to three (3) days in advance, including on the day of;
- Requests that are received online will be reviewed on a first come, first served basis with those received by telephone;
- You will be notified through the portal and via message that your trip has been booked and details on its arrival;
- You can check the status of your trip(s) through the portal at any time of the day up to 30 minutes prior to your booked time; and
- Cancel your trip(s) whether they were booked online or over the telephone, at any time of the day.
The new system maximizes the number of riders on any given trip and optimizes the manner in which the trips are assigned. This provides the opportunity to accommodate more trips and passengers. Just like with the Conventional service, the Specialized service is a shared service which strives on getting as many people to their destination as possible. Given that, we request that when booking your trips, you should allow 90 minutes of travel time, especially for time sensitive trips, to ensure you make it to your destination on time. Note that it is strongly suggested you pre-book your return trips to avoid potentially elongated wait times for return trips. Return trips are also not guaranteed and will be serviced as vehicle availability at the time of request dictates.

Note that before being able to use the online customer portal, London Transit must have your preferred email on file and you must have notifications set up – please confirm or provide your email to a Specialized Booking Agent next time you call in for a trip!
